It is a day to feel sad and grateful, sad that Jimmy is no longer with us, and grateful to him for all the joy he has brought me and others throughout his life. As a lifelong sailor, Jimmy’s music was playing in the background on any given sail, with the song “Lovely Cruise” on the stereo as we made our way back to the dock.
